A few important things might be happening
Large clouds overcast out the distance
Noise that like music play
Banging sensations from the toil of the coffee bean baristas
It’s an important time for us all
Taking a cellar phone fast
And then climbing back down the mountain
Discovering that the phone calls have pilled up
On my answering system
I have phone calls too
I call the lady and the man who have written me a bad check
Just like the creditors call after me where I live
And my step mother grits her teeth as her
Pride has never known a time where she did not pay a bill
Lucky for us all
Lucky in this important time with important things going on
Of course this is just the drivel of a man who is an alcoholic
A man who’s best friend has been, always alcohol and loneliness
Now I try to let go of my friend alcohol and get a new friend
I focus on loneliness and I focus on my relationship with IT ALL
On my desktop is a picture of Charles Bukowski
Like he was my old friend
We knew alcohol at different and sometimes the same time
Of course I never knew him personally
I can only hope that I can walk away from the crash… this time again.
I really need to make new friends.
